Attorney Profiles

Timothy M. Smith received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1995 and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 1991. He is admitted to practice before New York and Connecticut State Courts, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Smith was a partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP. His work experience includes serving as an attorney within the Social Security Administration and as in-house trial counsel for a national insurance carrier. His legal experience includes handling medical malpractice, general liability defense, toxic tort, employment and labor law, products liability, and workers compensation matters. Mr. Smith's ability to handle complex legal matters is highlighted by his participation in the litigation of the novel First Amendment versus Gender Discrimination case of Ganzy v. Allen Christian School, 995 F.Supp. 340 (E.D.N.Y. 1998).
